Each day we will think thousands of thoughts. Most of them will not be of any
quality. A lot of them will be judgmental, low-quality thoughts about ourselves that
have no upside and serve no purpose. If we then judge ourselves for these
thoughts, we are adding an extra layer of suffering. It’s important to understand
that whatever you are thinking and feeling isn’t bad, but that doesn’t mean we
shouldn’t learn to manage our minds and intentionally create thoughts that do serve
us better. Reprogramming your brain is the key to eliminating self-judgment and
thinking better.
In today’s episode, I share how you can manage your brain to eliminate self-
judgment. The first step is being aware of what you are thinking. The next step is to
accept that what you are thinking is normal. After accepting your thoughts, you
should diffuse and remove some of the emotions and judgments from the
thoughts. The final step is offering yourself new thoughts. These steps are key to
feeling better and thinking better every day.
